What are you listening to on the road? The Cranberries, Chelsea Wolfe, Warpaint.

What's your earliest musical moment? Tim: As a kid, listening to Spaghetti Bolognaise by Peter Combe. Felix: Listening repeatedly to Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill album. Maurice: Listening to Dream Weaver by Gary Wright when I was two-three years old!

How do you prepare for a gig? Tim: Warm up by singing Edelweiss. Felix: A hearty meal. Maurice: Fifty star jumps!

What's your favourite post-gig pastime? Tim: Chilling to the other bands. Felix: Listening to the other bands. Maurice: Beer, of course!

What's the greatest thing you have seen on stage? Tim: Blink-182 in Canberra circa 2002. Felix: A Perfect Circle in Adelaide 2005ish. Maurice: Well, most embarrassing, Courtney Love picking me out of the crowd and saying in nice words she would like to take me home with her! True story!

What's your best piece of touring advice? Tim: Sleep whenever you can. Felix: Backup strings, just in case! Maurice: Travel light! No huge drum kits!

Who are your musical heroes? Tim: If I could pick a voice, Bon Jovi. Felix: Red Hot Chili Peppers. Maurice: Russian Circles, instrumental band, awesome live performers!

Who would you most like to tour with? Tim: Jebediah. Felix: Ball Park Music. Maurice: Interpol.

What was your musical epiphany? Tim: Playing Israel's Son by Silverchair when I discovered my new friend played drums! Felix: Discovering Elliott Smith. Maurice: Listening to the War of the Worlds soundtrack, and in particular the crazy drum fills, and thinking, I want to do that!

Describe your sound? Punchy, melodic, big-sounding three-piece outfit.

Tell us something about where you grew up and how it influenced your sound? We all pretty much grew up in Canberra listening to '90s alternative rock, plus obvious influences from our parents such as: the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath and other classics.

What would you be doing if you weren't a musician? Time travel.

What is something we don't know about you? We're all nerds!

What does the future hold? A brand new set of songs for 2016!

Where can we catch your next gig? Groovin' the ANU on July 10 and playing at the Magpies Club on August 8.
