MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Gov. Rick Snyder has ordered U.S. flags lowered at all state buildings in honor of a 37-year-old Navy officer from suburban Detroit who died from noncombat causes while serving aboard an amphibious assault ship.
