Spirent Communications H1 Order Intake Rises - Quick Facts

Spirent Communications plc (SPT.L,SPM) reported that order intake was around $226.0 million for the first half year 2015, compared to $217.1 million, prior year. Revenue was about $218.0 million, compared to $221.0 million, last year.

Spirent reported that order intake in the second quarter was at approximately $127.0 million, compared to $115.3 million, a year ago. Revenue increased 12 percent to around $122.0 million, slightly below the Group's expectations, being impacted by orders received too late in the quarter to be converted into revenue. The Group said all of its business segments reported growth in revenue over the same period last year.

The Group's interim results will be issued on 6 August 2015.
