While her female contemporaries like all things girlie, Ekta Kaul is an exception. The actress, who plays Riya Mathur in 'Mere Angne Mein', has always had an inclination for heavy bikes and hopes to own one soon. She has been riding cruiser motorcycles since she was in class eight. And her ability to ride the bike effortlessly came handy when she was asked to ride one for a sequence in the show.
Ekta elaborates, “The original plan required me to be a pillion rider. However, since my character is of a strong girl, I suggested the makers to allow me to ride the bike and make Karam Rajpal (male lead) sit behind. He was scared in the beginning and kept telling me to ride carefully. But once I hit the road, it was all fine.”
