Cabinet clears 4.9ha land for Sidhi-Rewa rail project

State cabinet chaired by chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday sanctioned allotment of 4.9 hectare land for construction of Sidhi-Rewa broad gauge rail line project. Cabinet also extended special recruitment drive timeline to fill backlog posts reserved for SC, ST and OBC categories and handicapped persons quota by one year. Deadline for recruitment has been extended from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.

BHOPAL: State cabinet chaired by chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday sanctioned allotment of 4.9 hectare land for construction of Sidhi-Rewa broad gauge rail line project. Cabinet also extended special recruitment drive timeline to fill backlog posts reserved for SC, ST and OBC categories and handicapped persons quota by one year. Deadline for recruitment has been extended from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.

In another decision, cabinet sanctioned establishment of district employment offices at Ashoknagar, Anuppur and Alirajpur. For this government created of 5 posts for each office and recurring and non-recurring expenditures on furniture/office equipment for them.
Cabinet also decided that 15 BPO centres will be opened in rural areas by messrs Rural Shores, Bengaluru. Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Electronics Development Corporation has been authorized to invite tenders for this.
Government decided to upgrade 20 middle schools to high schools and sanctioned 20 posts of principals. Sanction has been granted for 120 posts of contractual school teacher grade-II, 20 posts of contractual school teacher grade-III, 20 posts of lower division clerk (computer trained) and 20 posts of peon for these schools.
Cabinet also sanctioned continuation of contractual posts of system analyst, data entry operator and IT operator for establishment of office of Commissioner Commercial Taxes under Commercial Taxes Department till March 31, 2016. State government decided to merge services of serving employees of State Oilseed Federation against various posts for establishment of office of the Commissioner Commercial Taxes under Merger Scheme of general administration department.
