This is Prometheus. At just 53 miles in diameter this humble little rock is in fact one of Saturn's smallest moons.
Visually, it's alien to the notion that all moons have to be large balls of rock. Prometheus is oval-shaped, erratic and destructive.

This stunning picture taken by Cassini shows the small moon's destructive path through Saturn's rings, leaving deep dark cuts as it sends tiny ring particles flying.
What makes this picture so special though is that it was taken using visible light. That means that if you just so happened to be in a spacecraft, at a distance of over 200,000 miles, then this is what you would see with the naked eye (and a pair of strong binoculars).
