imagePakistan has won the third and final Test at the Pallekele International Stadium by 7 wickets. Pakistan team had a strong ‘fight back’ in a chase against Sri Lanka.

Younis Khan and Shan Masood stand together at an unbeaten 217-run stand for the third wicket to give the visitors genuine hope of pulling off a memorable win and set a new record of highest fourth wicket partnership for Pakistan. Younis Khan and Shaan Masood partnership worked as a back bone for Pakistan.

Younis has the highest number of tons against Pakistani Top Test Players. He has been awarded ‘Man of the Match’ for his splendid performance in third Test match. Previously, Pakistan's highest successful chase is 314 runs which they made against Australia to win the Karachi Test, way back in 1994.

Pakistan has made a record victory in history; no visiting team has scored more than 300 runs in the fourth innings to win a Test on Sri Lankan soil. With this, Pakistan has won the Test series against Sri Lanka on their home ground.
