Kirloskar Toyota looks for diploma apprentices

Kirloskar Toyota Textile Machinery Pvt., Ltd., will visit the campus of Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management on July 13 to select apprentices from among those who completed diploma courses in 2015.

Selection process

An official release from the college here said that those having a diploma in mechanical and automobile engineering were eligible to participate in the selection process that starts from 9.30 a.m. Candidates should have scored at least 50 per cent marks and in the 19-22 age group.

Candidates would have to bring their bio-data, passport-size photographs, originals and photocopies of date of birth proof as well as educational qualification.

The selection process involves three stages—technical test, initial interview and final interview on the company premises.

Selected candidates would be paid Rs. 9,000 as stipend every month along with uniform, safety shoes, group insurance and canteen facilities.

On successful completion of training, eligible candidates are likely to be absorbed in the company even as all those completing the training would be provided certificates.

Kirloskar Toyota Textile Machinery, located at Jigani near Bengaluru, is a joint venture between Kirloskar group and the Toyota group. The entity manufactures textile machinery, material handling equipment and auto components.
