NSS launches health awareness rally

The National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of Government Higher Secondary School, Thadathilparamba, launched a health awareness rally on Monday in the wake of the reporting of diseases such as dengue and cholera in Olavattur area of Pulikkal grama panchayat in the district.

Panchayat president P. Abdulla flagged off the two-day rally being conducted in association with the panchayat and the health department.

The rally will reach out to the people with the message of prevention of diseases in the wards in Olavattur region.

Panchayat health and education standing committee chairman M.K. Abdul Azeez, panchayat members Mecheeri Salmabi, T. Ali Haji, A.K. Abbasali, K. Prameela and M.K. Mohammed, health inspectors V. Mohammed, C.B. Brijith, U. Abdul Rahoof and A.I. Laiju, NSS coordinator A.K. Salih, NSS district coordinator K.K. Mohammed Ashraf, PTA president Hasan Kutty, and principal D. Usha led the programme.

The two-day rally will reach out to the people with the message of prevention of diseases like dengue and cholera in the Olavattur region.
