Ashish Chowdhry shares screen space with son Agastya

After a daily soap and the stunt reality show 'Fear Factor—Khatron Ke Khiladi', Ashish Chowdhry has now decided to try dancing, which by his own admission, he is not good at. While the actor declined dance reality show, 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' initially, it was his six-year-old son Agastya, who got him to change his mind.
“He told me ‘Chowdhrys never give up’ and that’s when I decided to take up the challenge,” he says, adding, “Even if the stint is short, he should know that his father tried.Now, we have a bet about how long I will last on the show. If I last even beyond a week, I will emerge victor ious in my son’s eyes. I have told Agastya that I might not win, but I will come out learning.”

He has been reticent about bringing his children in public and has never shared the pictures of his son and the newborn twins. He’ll, however, break the rule for once and will be seen sharing the screen with his son for the first time on this dance show. The father-son duo shot a video where Agastya is shown persuading his father to take up the challenge. “I don’t want them to get enamoured by the glamour industry. But since it’s my son who has motivated me to take up the show, it prompted me to revoke the rule,” he says.
