Wabag Wins Bahrain Wastewater Order, First in Kingdom

VA Tech Wabag Ltd., India’s biggest water-treatment company, advanced in Mumbai trading after winning a state contract to build a wastewater plant in Bahrain, its first in the Gulf kingdom.

Wabag shares climbed as much as 5.5 percent and closed 1 percent higher at 798.35 rupees to extend gains for a sixth straight trading day. The 30-share benchmark Sensitive index rose 0.4 percent in comparison.
