Tunis: Out of eight people arrested for having “direct links” to Tunisia beach massacre, is a woman, who is said to have been the ISIS gunman's girlfriend, reports say.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, the police in Tunisia have arrested the beach attacker's girlfriend over fears that she might have helped him plan the massacre. Also, the investigators are trying to ascertain if the ISIS-trained gunman spent his last night with her.

However, the girl denies any knowledge about her partner's plot to kill innocent at the beach, Assarih - a local newspaper in Tunisia reported.

38 people were shot to death on June 26 when 24-year-old Seifeddine Rezgui pulled out a Kalashnikov from beneath the parasol at a beach in the Imperial Mrahaba hotel near Tunisian resort town of Sousse and started firing at random before chasing the people into the hotel.

The attack was claimed by the Islamic State on social media accounts linked to the jihadis

Revealing more details about the gunman to a French-language newspaper La Presse. , PM Habib Essid said that the attacker was a member of a dance club and was familiar with the tourism sector, having worked in it as an events organiser, the AFP reported.

Out of 38 victims, there were 30 Britons and UK Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed a “full spectrum” response against the ISIS, saying that the Britain will not be cowed by
