Driver killed and another injured in Funtington crash

The crash happened between Cheesemans Lane and Hares Lane just after midnight
A driver has died and another was seriously injured in a crash near Chichester.
A Seat Leon crashed head on with a Peugeot 406 just after midnight on Common Road, Funtington.
The 42-year-old man from Fishbourne, who was driving the Seat, died at the scene, while the Peugeot driver, 67, from Chichester was taken to hospital.
He is being treated for serious injuries and is in a serious but stable condition, Sussex Police said.
The road was closed for several hours and reopened just after 05:30 BST.
Any witnesses are asked to contact Sussex Police.
