Man beaten to death over plucking of mangoes

VARANASI: A man was beaten to death in a minor dispute over plucking of mangoes at Shahpur village near Pavara in Jaunpur district on Sunday.
On Sunday morning, two minor sons of Nanhey Gautam (32) entered the orchard of their neighbour Triloki and started plucking mangoes. Triloki reached there and thrashed them.
Nanhey tried to save his sons. He too was brutally beaten by Triloki and his sons.Nanhey died on the spot. The assailant managed to escape. A case has been registered against them with Pavara police. Raids are on to nab them.
Youth dies in accident: Abhishek Singh (18) was crushed to death by a speeding truck near Madhubani village at Bairiya in Ballia district on Sunday. The villagers caught the truck driver and handed him over to police.
