Dumped boyfriend probed in stabbing death of woman

A young mom was found hacked to death in a Bronx park Sunday morning — and cops were questioning the ex-boyfriend she dumped, police and relatives said.

Twenty-two-year-old Jasmine Gonzalez was discovered fatally stabbed in the stomach in Bronx River Park at around 6 a.m., according to police.

Law-enforcement sources told The Post that her ex-beau and baby daddy was a person of interest in the case.

“They were recently fighting,” said a family friend who asked not to be named. “They fought over their child, the care of their child, all the time.”

Other relatives and friends added that the ex had also been jealous of Gonzalez’s suitors after she kicked him to the curb.

The two had been arrested multiple times in the past for domestic disputes, they said.

The ex, 25, had been living in a Brooklyn shelter with their 2-year-old son, and Saturday night, he brought the tot over to Gonzalez’s home for a visit, according to family members.

The former couple spent the night in Gonzalez’s room, they said, and are believed to have slipped out later to go for a walk.

Around 5 a.m., Gonzalez’s mom, Giselle, was awoken by the ex, who asked to walk the family dog, relatives said. She gave him the leash, and he left.

An hour later, cops received a call from the ex claiming that he’d found Gonzalez’s body in the park, five blocks away from her apartment, as he was walking the dog, sources said.

A relative of the victim later found the ex’s napsack hidden behind a curtain at the home, kin said. In front of family members, cops opened the bag and found a set of bloody clothes and an empty

package that had contained a set of kitchen knives, according to relatives.

“He’s a devil to do this,” Giselle Gonzalez fumed of her daughter’s killer.

“I can’t go on,” she cried, and collapsed into the arms of a relative.
