Johor allocates close to a million to beef up neighbourhood patrolling schemes

JOHOR BARU: The state government has allocated RM900,000 to strengthen the role of the Neighbourhood Watch Group (KRT) and Voluntary Patrolling Scheme (SRS) statewide, this year.

Mentri Besar Datuk Mohamed Khaled Nordin said the allocation would be utilised to purchase patrolling equipments and conduct safety programmes to be carried out by the two bodies.
