Three government colleges in Gurgaon affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU) in Rohtak will start their admission process on Monday with the release of their first cut-off list.

GURGAON: Three government colleges in Gurgaon affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU) in Rohtak will start their admission process on Monday with the release of their first cut-off list.
Students are hoping for the cut off percentage to hover around 80-89% in most courses. In BCom (pass), the cut off is likely to stay in the range of 84-85%, while BCom (hons) might touch 86-89%.
In other courses, such as BCA and BA (English), the cut-off cent is likely to touch 80%.
Online applications are mandatory for these colleges as only those candidates who have already sent the applications online can submit hard copies of their forms along with mark sheets for admission.
Though University of Delhi is finalizing its admission process with the third list already released, most local candidates give these colleges a shot to be on the safe side. But these colleges get far fewer applications compared to DU.
DSD College on New Railway Road received the maximum number of applications till now has over 8,800 hard forms for 2,700 seats while a total of 11, 900 applied online.
The second most sought-after college is the Government Girls College in sector 14, which received over 8,400 physical applications and 9,200 online applications for the 2,400 seats available there.
Government College in sector 9 has received over 5,700 forms for the 1,300 seats available and number of online applications was around 6,000.
