8th Chintan Shibir concludes

Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel today attended valedictory session of 8th session of Chintan Shibir at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar today. While addressing ministers, secretaries, collectors and district development officers of the state she appealed them to implement final outcomes of group deliberations and brainstorming held during the Chintan Shibir to improve and simplify administrative procedures.
On this third and last day of the Chintan Shibir, She stressed upon simplification of administrative procedures and stated that we have to bring responsible, transparent and active governance for delivering service to common man without any administrative complexity.
She said about requirements of changes in government notifications, resolutions and regulations. She also called on to review implementation of result-oriented outcomes of Chintan Shibir after three months.
Mrs. Patel suggested that all departments should do timely planning of the schemes, discussed in the Chinatan Shibir, to include in next budget. She also stressed upon extensive implementation of people centric schemes and strict monitoring to achieve goals.
On administration at rural level she directed district administration for regular visit of backward areas and said that the officers should guide local management and make proper arrangements to remove obstacles at rural level.
She asked the Chief Secretary to take regular follow-ups for proper execution of the ideas at district level which were put-up during Chintan Shibir. She guided the administration to give top priority to people welfare works with the use of management, technology and financial management.

Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel today distributed Karmayogi awards to District Collectors and District Development Officers for their excellent contribution during valedictory session of 8th Chintan Shibir held at Mahantma Mandir, Gandhinagar.
