The paper reports that the Prosecutor General’s Office is anticipating a rise of cybercriminals targeting computers, data networks and data communications.

Etelä-Suomen Sanomat reported Sunday that national prosecutors have selected four prosecutors for cybercrime training. Two will come from Helsinki, another from Itä-Uusimaa and a fourth from Oulu.

They will then pass on what they’ve learned to their colleagues. The paper said that government is also looking into measures to improve the ability of police officers to deal with cybercrime.
