MYSURU: Ashok Pamidi, regional head of The National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom), has said that emerging technologies in IT and ITeS sectors are offering huge opportunities for young Indians.
After inaugurating 'Internship-2015' for the monsoon batch of Raman International Institute of Information Technology (RiiiT), an IT-finishing school, at a hotel here recently, Pamidi said that youths have great opportunities now as India has grown to be the second largest in emerging skills and fourth largest in start-ups in the world.

Being part of the youngest and intelligent workforce in the world, Indian youths can tap opportunities in investment banking, internet, SMAC (Social media, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud) and start-ups, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, former minister S A Ramdas said: "As a public representative, I strive to find solutions to major challenges faced by youths. Internees must turn entrepreneurs so that unemployment is addressed."
Siddharthacharry of Acharya Vidya Kula called upon the internees to shed thier ego so as to be successful in life. "Give quality time to family and follow Indian value system as it will help you scale great heights. Be disciplined and believe in hard work, and money follows," he added.
Over 400 fresh engineering graduates from 51 engineering colleges from across south India, who have been selected for the programme through an entrance test.
