Irish tickets for training session gone in just 10 minutes
Around 2,500 fans will get to watch Joe Schmidt put his squad through their paces at the open training session
Connacht will host a special training camp for the Irish rugby team at the Sportsground next Wednesday from 10.30-11.45am.
The event is part of the national side's preparation for their Six Nations clashes at home to England and away to Wales and Scotland.
Tickets for the event are free but all have been distributed at this stage, and around 2,500 fans will get to watch Joe Schmidt put his squad through their paces.
Tickets for the open training session were snapped up in just over ten minutes when they became available for distribution earlier this week.
Priority access was given to Connacht clubs, schools and season ticket holders and response from around the province has been enormous.
It was also evident last weekend when Connacht staged an open training session in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Ireland are the reigning Six Nations champions and after a positive start to their 2015 campaign with a 26-3 win against the Italians it is an ideal time to catch of glimpse of Joe Schmidt's team in action in a World Cup year.
The camp takes place after this weekend's crunch Test against France and before what could be a tournament deciding fixture against England - it will be a rare opportunity to get to see the Irish team in full flow at the Galway venue.
The training camp in Galway is the first of two which the Irish management have arranged away from their usual base at Carton House.
The squad will also train in Belfast during the Six Nations, giving fans plenty of opportunity to see how the reigning champions train to hold on to their crown.
