Salman Khan launches party song for Eid

Salman Khan is in no mood to take chances with his Eid release for this year, Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Even as the Selfie song continues to climb the charts, the superstar launched a special Eid number for his fans on Friday evening, promising it would end up as one of the biggest attractions of his new film. The new track goes Aaj Ki Party Mere Taraf Se, and tries capturing the spirit of jubilation that Eid brings in its wake. The peppy number has been sung by Mika and composed by Pritam while Shabbir Ahmed has wrtten the lyrics. Going by the reception the song received at its launch do, it looks like a sureshot winner. The anticlimax, however, came when Salman declared that though the song might be used for promotion, it would not immediately be incorporated in the film. "This is one of the better songs of the film.

Initially, I thought the film did not need yet another song for promotion. But once Pritam made me listen to the song, I got greedy about incorporating it in the film. Right now, the song will not be featured in the film but depending on how long the film runs we might add it," agencies quoted Salman as saying at the event. Accompanying Salman at the song launch was the film's director Ksbir Kha. composer Pritam, singer Mika and lyricist Ahmed. The film's other cast members, including, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were absent from the do. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is an action drama about a common Indian, who takes up the reponsibility of taking a lost, mute Pakistani girl back to her homeland. The film is scheduled to release on July 17.
