SRINAGAR, July 4: Pradesh Congress Committee president G A Mir has said that four months rule of Coalition Government led by PDP in the State has been a complete failure while the political victimization on the part of PDP has become a routine now as the people who voted for other parties are being targeted by the PDP MLAs in the Valley.
Addressing party workers at Shahbad in Dooru today Mr Mir said that the pick and choose policy in respect of developmental works and resolution of other problems confronting people, has become a hallmark of PDP in Dooru constituency. The PCC leader hit out at PDP for ignoring people on political lines. He alleged that step motherly attitude is being meted out to those people who have not voted for PDP in the recently held assembly elections in 2014 in the Valley particularly in Dooru constituency.
Mr Mir said that PDP considers people of Dooru constituency as a threat to PDP, which has frustrated the party to a great extent. He expressed confidence that people won’t succumb to the political tactics of PDP and its MLA and shall always raise their voice against political victimization by PDP.
PCC chief warned PDP for its behaviour and said that PDP is trying hard to crush the political opponents wherever, they represent just to benefit them, but the fact is that it (PDP) is losing the ground very fast. He said Congress party won’t tolerate such step motherly attitude of PDP and assured the people that the party will make them answerable and accountable to people.
Mir asked PDP leadership to get ready to face the ire of the people for their failure on all fronts and their dual policy in the State has exposed PDP fully in front of the people and the way they are treating people and their political rivals is something like frustration on their part. The day is not far when people of the State will punish the PDP and BJP for their dual and anti people policies, Mir added.
