Huawei Unveils Honor Band Zero Smartwatch And Honor Whistle Bluetooth Headset

While launching the Huawei Honor 7 smartphone, the Chinese smartphone maker also unveiled the new Honor Band Zero smartwatch and Honor Whistle Bluetooth headset. The company is yet to reveal information about the price and availability of both the wearable devices, according to reports.

Featuring a circular design, the Honor Band Zero gets a brushed metal bezel around the corners, reports NDTV Gadgets. The Honor Band Zero is IP68 certified, which means that the wearable device is dust proof and water resistant. It will also display message notifications and incoming calls, however, it is still not confirmed whether users can answer calls through the Honor Band Zero.

Besides that, the Honor Band Zero that will be available in Black, Beige, and White colours will feature a sleep tracker and a pedometer that will track steps. The company is yet to confirm whether the new smartwatch will run on Android or on its own operating system, as per the NDTV Gadgets report.

According to Digital Trends, the Band Zero that will hit China’s markets in August will assure battery life of around 4 days. Meanwhile, the Honor Whistle Bluetooth headset that was unveiled along with the Honor Band Zero sports a brushed metal look, just like the Band Zero and it will serve as an accessory for the Honor 7 smartphone, as per the NDTV Gadgets report.

The Honor Whistle will come in black or beige colours, however, the company is yet to reveal information on its price and availability, reports Digital Trends. As mentioned earlier, the Honor Band Zero and Honor Whistle Bluetooth were unveiled at a time when Huawei launched its Honor 7 smartphone on June 30.

The latest Honor 7 smartphone will be available in three variants. The lowest variant of Honor 7 with 16 GB storage and LTE has been priced at $322, the mid-range variant with the same 16 GB storage and dual SIM 4G LTE will cost $354 and the top end variant with 64 GB internal storage and dual 4G LTE SIM will be available at a price tag of $402, reports Android Authority.
