Students, who topped the district in the SSLC and Plus Two exams in 2014-15, were honoured at a programme organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) here on Friday evening.

Nine students from various schools were honoured on the occasion.
H.S. Upendra Kamath, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank, (TMB), chief guest, presented the meritorious students with cash awards and shields in recognition of academic excellence.
C.S. Rajendran, secretary, Kamaraj College, A.P.C.V. Chockalingam, secretary of VOC Educational Society and D.R. Kodeeswaran, secretary of ICCI were present.
