Rahul Gandhi met debt-ridden farmers, landless labourers and even home buyers ever since he returned from his nearly eight-week long leave in April. But it was different on Saturday.
He had a rare interaction with Internet entrepreneurs — the likes of Snapdeal founder Kunal Bahl and Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma.

So from Srinivasu M N, the director and co-founder of the BillDesk, to Neeraj Roy, the CEO of the Hungama Digital Media Entertainment, and Ankit Bhati of Ola Cabs, the Congress vice-president met a rare mix of top notch innovators.
Sources said Rahul was keen to know about the new innovations in their respective fields and the challenges faced by them. The others included the heads of Mswipe, BookMyShow and Zipdeal.
From policy impediments to net neutrality and universal connectivity to innovations in healthcare and financial services which can touch the lives of common man, a broad range of topics were discussed.
“Rahul Gandhi was very keen to interact with the next generation of entrepreneurs who represent the Internet economy and to understand if there are any policy impediments in the way of job creation and innovation,” said former MoS for IT and Telecom Milind Deora, who was part of the interaction.
Sources said Rahul could now meet captains of Indian industry as well. The Congress vice-president had been concerned with his anti-corporate image.
His meeting with home buyers was an attempt to convey a message that he was concerned about the middle class as well.
