Marri Shashidhar Reddy writes to Rajnath Singh against ESL Narasimhan

Reddy also asked the home minister to direct the Governor to immediately remove Mr Yadav from the Cabinet
Hyderabad: Former minister Marri Shashidhar Reddy has written to Union home minister Rajnath Singh seeking the removal of Mr E.S.L. Narasimhan as Governor as he has “deliberately faltered” and “blatantly failed” in discharging his duties.
Mr Reddy complained that Mr Narasimhan had sworn in TD legislator Talasani Srinivas Yadav as minister in the Chandrasekhar Rao Cabinet without following the constitutional law and spirit.
He said the Governor had deliberately chosen to ignore Paragraph 2(1)(A) of the Tenth Schedule of the Constitution and the verdict of the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court in Rajender Singh Rana v. Swamy Prasad Maurya, which are clear with regard to the continuance of a person beyond six months as a minister.
Mr Reddy said the Governor, as the custodian of the Constitution, had violated constitutional provisions and the ruling of the apex court which is “unpardonable.” Mr Reddy also asked the home minister to direct the Governor to immediately remove Mr Yadav from the Cabinet.
