Katherine Heigl and Alexis Bledel play a same sex couple planning their wedding in their latest film.
The Grey's Anatomy and Gilmore Girls actresses both star in Jenny's Wedding, set for release at the end of the month, with the trailer being distributed just days after the Supreme Court's decision to legalise same sex marriage in the US.
The first trailer sees Jenny (played by Heigl) finally coming out to her conservative parents and reveals her plans to wed Bledel, whom her family believed was her roommate for several years.
Bledel previously spoke about her role in 2014, saying: "She doesn't expect Jenny to come home and say that she wants to get married one day.

"That's probably the last thing she ever expected her to say. It's something that she was hesitant to want because she didn't know if that was something Jenny would be capable of since she hadn't even told her family she was a lesbian."
The movie is directed by Mary Agnes Donoghue, who wrote 1980s classic Beaches, who says Jenny's Wedding is based on a true story.
