Arjun Kapoor, who is known to be easy-going, invited everyone from his cousin sisters Sonam and Rhea Kapoor to his friends and competitors, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh to his 30th birthday party that went on till the wee hours of the morning.

Though 30 is considered to be a milestone age, Arjun doesn’t feel any difference. “Age is just a number. How old you feel is all about your state of mind. I am in a good place in my life. But honestly, I don’t think I have even completed half of my life. In true Bollywood style, mera toh interval bhi nahi hua hai. The first half with all the twists, turns, fights, romance and songs is still going on. It is not even the interval in my life’s reel,” the actor says.

By 30, most people express an interest in settling down and taking stock of things. Arjun, however, doesn’t believe in planning long-term. “I am not somebody who plans things. I am generally a thinker by nature. I think a lot, but I can’t plan ahead. I am just very fortunate that I have so many people showering me with love. I am lucky that my passion is my profession. Not everyone gets to make a career out of something they love doing. I feel blessed to be in this place,” the actor says.

They say time is the best healer, but for Arjun, who lost his mother Mona Kapoor to cancer before his debut film released, her presence will be sorely missed. “Things are great, but I miss my mom. There are moments where I miss her and that will always be there. But I don’t have any regrets,” he signs off.
