‘Karnataka has potential for more growth’

Vipin Sondhi, managing director of JCB India Ltd., has said that Karnataka has a potential for more growth. He told presspersons after inaugurating the integrated sales and service facility in Dharwad here on Friday that with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s propagating the ‘Make In India’ concept, a progressive state like Karnataka with its big cities and sound base in education could grow further. However, he was non-committal on investing in the State. Mr. Sondhi said the company had recently invested a huge amount in its plants in Jaipur and had not yet thought about investing in south India. He said they would ponder over it only after the existing plants reached their full capacity.
