Homemaker assaulted by four women

NOIDA: A homemaker was allegedly thrashed by four women in a case of road rage after the car in which they were travelling grazed her scooterette in Sector 58.
Police said the incident took place on Friday morning. The victim, identified as Pinki Pandey, was travelling on her scooterette when she raised an objection to a speeding car brushed past. Soon after she reportedly asked the woman driving the car to drive carefully, all four occupants of the car, who were women, turned violent and began verbally abusing the victim.When she asked them to stop using filthy language, they allegedly thrashed her too, said a police officer.
"The car occupants overpowered her and she was also bitten on the hand," the officer said, adding that following the incident, the accused then fled the scene.
The victim then approached police.
The police officer said that police were scanning the CCTV footage of the area to identify the accused.
"A case has been registered based on the victim's complaint ," the officer said.
