AVM flays Govt on new recruitment policy

JAMMU, July 3: Aarakshan Virodhi Manch (AVM) has criticized the BJP-PDP Coalition Government for its new recruitment policy.
In a meeting of the Manch held under the chairmanship of Ram Pal Seth, president of the Manch, the members discussed various problems being faced by the general category people.Mr Seth termed the recommendations finalized on new-recruitment policy by Cabinet Sub-Committee as old wine in new bottle.
Seth condemned the new recruitment policy on the ground that it will create chaos and confusion in deciding promotions and seniority. He appealed to the Government to take one channel for all recruitment and issue SRO regarding their regularizations to avoid uncertainty.
Som Dutt Sharma, vice-president of the Manch demanded 30% reductions in electricity and water charges.
Other who attended the meeting included K K Sharma, V K Sharma, Ravi Sawhney, Tara Singh, Bhushan Pargal, Raj Kumar Banathia and Yash Paul Senson.
