Marisa Tomei has been cast in the FOX program "Empire" as Mimi Whiteman, a billionaire mogul who loves "fashion, hip-hop and women," according to reps. Tomei's character will be a recurring one.
Tomei is just one of many already announced guests on season two of the show, which includes spots from Chris Rock, Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz.
Show creator Lee Daniels recently shared pics of him on set with Rock, who was wearing an orange prison jumpsuit.
The regular cast of "Empire" is headed by Terrence Howard, Jussie Smollett, Trai Byers and Bryshere Gray.
Season two debuts on September 23 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
