ISLAMABAD: Justice Jawwad S Khawaja has remarked that he wants law of evidence and Code of Criminal Procedure (CRPC) to be abolished forthwith and system of Panchayat (village council) to be implemented so that all the people record their evidence at a time and the matter is disposed off as early as possible.

He gave these remarks while presiding over a 3-member bench of Supreme Court (SC) during the hearing of Lasbella Industrial etc case today.

Justice Jawwad remarked “if lawyers assist the courts in the right manner then people will be able to get justice as soon as possible.”

Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed remarked “it seems as if the petitioner had come from home for losing the case.

The court adjourned the hearing indefinitely.
