`I do what minister tells me'
Former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy on Wednesday had alleged in the legislative assembly that one of the four members of the extortion racket in the Lokayukta office was Nagaraj, private secretary to revenue minister V Sreenivas Prasad.
Defining the roles of the four people involved in the racket, Kumaraswamy said Nagaraj was the pointsman for the ring leaders to get the list of officials who could be "targeted" for extortion.

When TOI contacted Nagaraj on Thursday , all he said was: "Please ask the minister about this. I do whatever the minister tells me to do.'' The minister was not available for comment.
Demanding a CBI inquiry into the racket, Kumaraswamy on Wednesday in the legislative assembly had said, "Others involved in the racket were Rajashekar, a BDA broker, the unknown Krishna Rao and son of Lokayukt a Justice Y Bhaskar Rao," Kumaraswamy said.
Apart from lower-rung officials who were targeted, several senior IAS officers also paid bribes to the racketeers, Kumaraswamy alleged while adding. "This points the needle of suspicion towards senior IAS officers being corrupt."
