K.V. Rangaraju of Nagarjuna Constructions on Thursday donated two golden arms to the TTD-run Sri Kalyana Venkateswara temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram.

Valued at Rs.42 lakh, the golden ornaments will be used to cover the presiding deity’s ‘Kati Hastam’ (the hand placed on the lap) and the ‘Varada Hastam’ (the hand pointing to His feet). According to Joint Executive Officer (Tirumala) K.S. Sreenivasa Raju, the donation is an indication of the shrine’s growing reputation on par with the Tirumala shrine.
