Mayor wants coastal road project named after Bal Thackeray

The coastal road should be named after the honourable Hinduhriday Samrat Shiv Sena Pramukh Balasaheb Thackeray.

BMC mayor Snehal Ambekar has recommended that the coastal road project be named after late Bal Thackeray. In a letter to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Sena leader said, “ The coastal road should be named after the honourable Hinduhriday Samrat Shiv Sena Pramukh Balasaheb Thackeray. Mumbaikars were promised a coastal road in 2012 civic election manifesto released under the leadership of Balasaheb Thackeray.”
