Expect to see more of Katie Holmes in New York City.
The lovely TV, screen and Broadway actress and her daughter Suri are renting a posh, $25,000-a-month penthouse in Chelsea.
The Ohio native received international attention in 2012 when she fled her Beverly Hills mansion for New York City, where she plotted her divorce from her Scientologist husband, Tom Cruise, from a $12,500-a-month rental at the Chelsea Mercantile.
That apartment even came with a secret entrance to Whole Foods that allowed her to leave her rental home undetected by paparazzi and Scientologist thugs who were watching her.
Last year, Holmes bought a $3.79 million, six-bedroom home in California near Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.
In interviews, Holmes has talked about her love for New York City and the Big Apple’s ballet, theater, subway and art galleries.
Her new rental is a roomy 2,400 square feet and comes with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, lots of open space and great city views — from the Empire State Building to the World Trade Center.
The pricey pad features a wood-burning fireplace, a private deck with an irrigated, landscaped terrace and a standalone outdoor shower. It also boasts a large chef’s kitchen with Miele appliances including a double wall oven, a five-burner range and a built-in espresso machine. The master bedroom is “Zen inspired,” notes the listing, and comes with a dressing area and a spa-like en suite bathroom. The apartment is also smart-wired for Lutron and Crestron home automation systems to control the lights, window shades, audio and temperature from an iPhone.
