A team of Chandkheda police officials arrested a man for abducting a city-based businessman and demanding money from him.Police have launched the manhunt for two other accused in the case.

AHMEDABAD: A team of Chandkheda police officials arrested a man for abducting a city-based businessman and demanding money from him. Police have launched the manhunt for two other accused in the case. The arrested has been identified as Vijay Uttamchandani alias Viju Body.
Jaikishan Wadhwani, a resident of Sindhi Colony in Sardarnagar, had been to a bank in Motera on Wednesday afternoon.
While he was returning to his office, three men - Ajay Raghwani, Viju Body and an unidentified man waylaid him. They thrashed him and asked for Rs 1.25 lakh that he owed to one of their friends.
They forced him on a bike and drove him to Sabarmati and later to Shahibaug where they kept him near Gayatri temple for a while before releasing him with a warning to make payment soon.
