Woman sexually assaulted on train between Alexandria and Dalmuir

Police are hunting for a man who sexually assaulted a 20-year-old woman on board a train in West Dunbartonshire.

The incident took place between Alexandria and Dalmuir stations on 22 June.

Police said the woman was left upset and extremely shaken by the attack, which happened between 19:40 and 19:55.

The man responsible for the assault got off the train at Dalmuir station at about 20:15.

He was described as being about 5ft 7in, with dirty blond hair and grazes on his forehead.

He was wearing jeans and a distinctive blue and black striped jumper with a red stripe on the front of it.
