Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal – the big guns in the lower half of the draw will be in action again as second round action at Wimbledon 2015 continues on Thursday.
Federer and Nadal were in prime form in their first round matches a couple of days ago, easing past their respective opponents to suggest a Novak Djokovic vs Andy Murray Wimbledon final in the men's singles is not a foregone conclusion.
In the first round, Federer was his usual majestic Wimbledon self, showing just what effortless style in tennis looks like with a 6-1, 6-3, 6-3 victory over Damir Dzumhur.
If Federer plays anything like that against American Sam Querrey on Thursday in the second round, then the Swiss great will be one step closer to an eighth Wimbledon title.
Querrey, though, was impressive in his win over Igor Sijsling in the first round, and with his game suited to the grass, Federer will be wary of the pitfalls if he goes down a couple of gears.
Nadal will play after the match between Federer and Querrey, and the Spaniard, who powered past Tomaz Bellucci in the first round, will have to find a way past Dustin Brown of Germany on Centre Court.
After a slow start to the match, Nadal found his rhythm – something that has been unfortunately missing for much of 2015 – to ease past the Brazilian 6-4, 6-2, 6-4.
While it was far from a flawless performance, there were plenty of signs in that win that the Nadal of old might just be coming back, and this second round match against Brown will show if that is indeed true.
The third of the big players in the men's singles in action on Thursday is Andy Murray, who will want to be sitting back and relaxing with his feet up by the time Federer comes on court, especially considering the temperatures in London at the moment.
Murray is scheduled to face Robin Haase of the Netherlands in the first match on Court No.1 on Thursday, and with heat a major issue at Wimbledon this year, the home favourite will want to pick up another straight-set victory.
While Murray was not entirely convincing in his first round win over Mikhail Kukushkin, the Brit had way too many weapons for the Kazakh to really threaten, and that should also prove to be the case in the second round.
In the women's section, Sabine Lisicki, a serious threat here at Wimbledon, opens up action on Centre Court against Christina McHale, while defending champion and number two seed Petra Kvitova plays Japanese Kurumi Nara over on Court No.1.

The matches on Thursday are scheduled to begin at 11.30 am local time (4 pm BST, 6.30 am ET), while the action at Centre Court and Court No.1 is scheduled for a 1 pm (5.30 pm IST, 8 am ET) start.
Star Sports 2 and Star Sports 4 will show the Wimbledon action live in India and the sub-continent, while the matches can also be watched via live streaming online on Starsports.com and Hotstar.
