SCR bids adieu to P.K. Srivastava

South Central Railway General Manager Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, who was the zonal head for a year and eight months since November last, superannuated on Tuesday. GM, South Western Railway, Pradeep Kumar Saxena has been posted as in-charge GM from July 1, a press release said.

Mr. Srivastava, who spent 36 years of his life serving the Indian Railways, was accorded an emotional farewell at a meeting in the Rail Nilayam on Tuesday evening. Later, the entire SCR headquarters staff and officers bid him farewell, by pulling a colourfully-decorated open top jeep with Mr. Srivastava and his family from Rail Nilayam as the Railway Protection Force band belted out its music.
