Prohibitory orders clamped in four villages

The district administration has promulgated Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code in four taluks of the district in lieu of the second death anniversary of Ilavarasan, the Dalit youth who was found dead along the railway track in the district, starting from Wednesday.

The administration has banned entry of political parties and outfits from paying homage in Natham Colony on July 4. With the exception of Ilavarasan’s family, no other group shall be allowed to pay tributes at Illavarasan’s tombstone.
