Missing boy's body found in flat

The body of a 17-year-old student, who went missing three months ago, was found in an apartment in Rajeev Ratan Awas, housing society, in west Delhi's Ranhola area on Tuesday.

NEW DELHI: The body of a 17-year-old student, who went missing three months ago, was found in an apartment in Rajeev Ratan Awas, housing society, in west Delhi's Ranhola area on Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as Nitish Thakur, a Class XII student of a government school in Jharoda Kalan. He was staying with his parents and a younger sister in Harphool Vihar area of Najafgarh.
His father, Shailesh Thakur, said his son had been missing since the day he went to answer his last exam paper.
His family had registered a missing case at Najafgarh police station. Shailesh, who works as a labourer, alleged police were not keen on investigating his disappearance.
