Karunakaran, Rajendran team up for a fantasy comedy

The popular comedian pair of Karunakaran and Motta Rajendran is teaming up for a film titled Kanneer Anjali; they will be playing the leads. Confirming the news, Karunakaran says, ���Motta Rajendran and I are playing the two leads in Kanneer Anjali. The film is an interesting fantasy comedy, and the shoot of the same will begin around mid-July. The film is directed by Guhan, and the rest of the cast is yet to be decided.���
A source close to the team also told us that Parvathy Nair, of Uttama Villain fame, is playing the female lead in the film, and will join the team soon.
