    BENGALURU: IT services firm Happiest Minds Technologies has appointed a former executive of Sonata Software N Venkatraman as chief financial officer of the four-year-old company.
    "I am very confident that he will accelerate the initiatives and drive us towards our goals," said Ashok Soota, executive chairman of Happiest Minds.

    Headquartered in Bangalore, the company has operations in the US, UK, Singapore, Australia. So far it has raised secured $52.5 million of venture capital funding from JPMorgan Private Equity Group, Intel Capital and Ashok Soota.

    "I strongly believe that the company is slated for significant future growth," said N Venkatraman, the new CFO.

    Happiest Minds, employs 1,500 people.
