Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love has set up a meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers this week, according to ESPN reporter Chris Broussard.
Although Love opted out of his contract with Cleveland and officially became a free agent today, sources close to the 26-year-old say he's likely to re-sign with the Cavs.
Cavaliers fans shouldn't worry too much about his meeting the Lakers. Back in February, he told reporters that he sees no scenario where he'll be suiting up in LA next season.
SB Nation says the Lakers have a history of getting meetings with every top free agent, so we can probably just chalk this up to a normal free-agent season occurrence.
Meanwhile, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports says the Boston Celtics are still waiting to hear back from Love and his team about a meeting.
