ADP Says Companies in U.S. Add 237,000 Workers to Payrolls

Companies in the U.S. added 237,000 workers to payrolls in June, figures from the ADP Research Institute in Roseland, New Jersey, showed Wednesday.

The median projection of 44 economists surveyed by Bloomberg called for an advance of 218,000. Estimates ranged from gains of 190,000 to 274,000. The May increase was revised to 203,000 from a previously reported 201,000.
