Cocktails

Rick’s, the lounge bar at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi is back with vinegar cocktails. While vinegar doesn’t come to mind as a cocktail mixer, but when the tangy, bracing tonic is macerated with fresh fruit and sugar, it becomes a bartender’s favourite. Bars across the globe are using shrubs, which are vinegar-based syrups infused with fruit and spices, in cocktails. One can choose from the cocktails like the old fashioned, the classic vinegar martini, mint julep, orange caprioska and the classic Rick’s vinegar sling. On till July 15 from 4 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. Priced at Rs.850 plus taxes per cocktail.

Aamoutsav

Pind Balluchi invites patrons to enjoy the king of fruits in specially prepared desserts with the chef preparing special authentic North Indian mango version desserts from various varieties of mangoes like alphonso, langra, chaunsa, dasheri, safeda to name a few. The menu includes mango chaunsa custard, alphonso phirni, dasheri faluda, kalmi kesari rasmalai, safeda badami rasmalai, mango langra shake and chittoor lassi. Spreads

Foodhall brings new flavours in butter as replacement for the salted one for breakfast. These are herbed garlic butter, honey mustard flavored butter, cranberry butter and ginger chilli butter. Besides there are a variety of crème cheese also to choose from like pink peppercorn and chive cheese, roasted garlic and rosemary cheese, green olive and chipotle cheese and caramalised onion and chevre cheese. Available at Foodhall outlets located at DLF Place, Saket and DLF Promenade.

Persian pot

Sufiaana by Cherish invites food lovers to its Persian pot festival to enjoy delicacies from different Persian and Arabic region, ranging from soups, main course to desserts. The menu includes Lebanese lemon lentil soup fattoush, tabouleh, khayar bi laban, Peshwari barra, chicken shish taouk, chilo kabab, chicken shawrma, sayadieh, sufis prawn curry, lamb tajine, chicken tajine, gosht Peshwari, shah rogan josh, rarra gosht, dum ki nalli, murgh boti masala, makhmali murgh, murgh malai, wala Iranian mahi kabab, chelow kabab, jawaneh dajaj mal’i, gosht Peshwari, paneer aur kimam ke kofte, laham kabsa, rose kheer, baklava to name a few. Pizza roll

Sbarro tempts taste buds with the stromboli aka pizza roll made with Italian bread dough, which is rolled in a cylindrical shape and filled with fresh ingredients like 100 per cent dairy mozzarella cheese, meats and vegetables and is baked to a golden crust. It serves four varieties, namely, broccoli and mushroom stromboli, sausage and cheese stromboli, paneer tikka stromboli and chicken tikka stromboli.
