TOKYO -- Bond specialists predict that the yield on 10-year Japanese government bonds will be 0.459% on a simple average at the end of July, according to a monthly market survey by QUICK. That tops their one-month forecast of 0.402% in the previous survey.
QUICK, a Nikkei group market-information company, surveyed 212 officials in charge of bonds at brokerages and institutional investors in Japan, and received 150 valid answers. When the survey was conducted on June 23 to 25, the yield on 10-year JGBs was moving in the range of 0.455% to 0.475%.
